I love that at even such a young age Mason is learning what a healthy lifestyle looks like. He sees his father and me working out each morning and enjoying nutritious foods.

We can’t force our kids to live our lifestyle, but we can definitely be a positive influence by showing them how to be healthy every day.

By the time Mason gets up at 6:45, I’ve already trained, showered, had a warm cup of matcha and watched the sunrise.

Tips for staying on top of your fitness when you’re a mom…

1. Get your workout in early in the morning before the craziness of the days takes over.

2. Plan your training schedule for the week. Figure out the time and the workouts ahead of time. 

3. Do something rather than nothing. If your day gets in way, do 20-30 minutes instead of 60 minutes.

4. Have a basic gym at home. This gets rid of the excuse that you can’t make it to the gym. A few sets of dumbbells and a mat will do the job.

5. Make yourself a priority. It’s not selfish to carve out time for your health. There will always be a 100 other things you need to do!
